Choir Sing at Downing Street

The Manchester Survivors Choir, made up of those affected by the 2017 Arena attack, sang carols at 10 Downing Street for the Christmas tree lighting in December 2025. The event, hosted by Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his wife Victoria, was part of Small Business Saturday.

This annual celebration featured a variety of activities designed to support local businesses across the UK. Before the carol singing, the choir members shared stories of resilience and hope, emphasizing the power of community in overcoming tragedy. The steps of Downing Street were decorated with festive garlands, twinkling lights, and ornaments crafted by small businesses, creating a warm atmosphere for guests and attendees.

Local entrepreneurs were invited to showcase their products and discuss their impact on the British economy. Members of the government and representatives from survivor support organizations attended, highlighting ongoing initiatives to help those affected by the attack. The evening concluded with speeches recognizing the importance of unity, remembrance, and the role small businesses play in fostering healing and growth throughout communities.
